Rebel with a keyboard
Most of you have heard of Nanowrimo — National Novel Writing Month. Nanowrimo starts November 1 and goes through November 30 and writers sign up to write 50,000 words in that period of time. Choke, gag, wheeze. I admire those who do it, but I just could never commit to that.
So I’m starting my own challenge. And I’m only challenging myself. For me, October is GonnaWriMo Month. That’s Gonna Write More — and that might mean something different to me that it does to the Nanowrimo folks, and that’s OK. It might mean something different to you than it does to me. That’s OK.
I’m determined to finish a particular project by the end of October, but I’m not counting words or hours or beads or headaches. I’m just going to go for Writing More.
Do you need a kick in the pants a little push?
Make October GonnaWriMo Month for yourself too – and let me know how you do!

Excellent idea. I think I shall join you…burning up that keyboard!!
LOL, can I join your club?
Sounds awesome! I am making October GonnaEdMo. (Gonna edit.)
Great idea. I’m working on a revision I’d like to get done soon.
Sound great – don’t agonize, just write!
This sounds like a splendid idea, and just what the doctor ordered for my now chronic apathy. Thanks Amy!
This is something I could do…for sure. Not every day, but certainly more than I’m doing now.
