Building an ark

The torrents of rain outside my window remind me to have faith.

Even if it’s *just* a story, Noah built an ark because he was told there would be a flood, and because he had faith, he built the ark and saved his family and all those two-by-two animals.

Maybe a book is like an ark.

We are each a character in our own true life tale.  We listen to a voice, whether internal or external, that tells us to write. We have faith in ourselves and the belief that we have a story to tell and can tell it skillfully.  We hope that one day we’ll reach our personal goal and we work toward it even though we’re not sure what will happen.

Noah didn’t know if the flood would come until it did.  He just had faith.

No one knows if they’ll be published until they are.

Have faith.

Wise words, my friend, wise words.

Is writing a book an analogy to life?

So very true. I don’t know how I’d ever go on writing, really, without it. Got to keep on sailing!
