Where I will be at midnight
And I’ll be there with two 13-year-old girls and a theater full of strangers.
No stranger than us, I suppose.

I will be there as well. Although, I am going with friends and without any teenage girls to make it look like we should actually be there!
Hey, embrace it & have a great time! I haven’t read any of the Twilight series, but it strikes me as maybe a little similar to the Buffy/Angel thing, or am I completely wrong?
I’ve never read or seen the Buffy/Angel thing…but the Twilight series is very simply, a love story. It’s pretty pure too…two “people” who are very different fall in love and fight their differences to be together. They’re accepted in each other’s worlds. They treat eachother with respect and admiration for their differences.
I don’t know why it gets criticized. My daughter even admitted she learned added great words to her vocabulary reading the series.
It’s not meant to be great literature, but it’s certainly popular and cultural literature – a phenomenon at that.
Oh, you must post your review!! Those books are on my list of must reads…I’m also curious about the movie.
