2010 – Present Social Media Liaison, Backspace: The Writers Place (www.bksp.org)
I am Managing Editor and a contributor for STET! The Backspace blog; the manager of the Backspace Twitter account and the Editor of the Backspace monthly newsletter. I also use Virtual Response software to design and send the newsletter to over 1,400 international Backspace members. Since starting with Backspace, the blog readership, Facebook hits, Twitter followers and online visibility have all increased.

I read manuscripts and critique submissions from authors looking for literary representation. All work is done via email.

AWARDS AND HONORS
My novel’s first chapter and synopsis won the Novel Journey Out of the Slush Pile Contest for Women’s Fiction. I also won the QueryTracker.net pitch and first paragraph contest judged by literary agent, Jason Yarn. My novel, Glass House, is currently on submission. I am represented by Jason Yarn of The Paradigm Agency.
My essay, Brisket and The Art of Long-Term Friendship was named an editor favorite on Red Room.
